This temple dedicated to Gandi Maisamma is located at the Chilakalguda crossroads on the busy Secunderabad-Musheerabad main road. The temple appeared on railway property and is situated in close proximity to the railway tracks. It survived construction of a carriage way and a couple of road widening programs. The temple committee has successfully negotiated with the GHMC (Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation) and the railways, and the shrine continues to occupy the island between busy road
