    The breadth of the visual archive you used is really heartening for me.

    It seems to me (especially after reading this: http://www.bauhaus-imaginista.org/articles/5054/reclaiming-the-national) increasingly that 'Populism' (of different political affiliations) is the dominant philosophy of governance worldwide and a useful theoretical tool to apply on nationalist-masculinist visual cultures.

    Wonder whether it has any relevance in your case.
