Shaista Anwar, an independent scholar of art and architecture, studied Art History and Visual Studies at the University of Hyderabad. As part of the Masters programme, she attended a semester at the Karl Jaspers Centre for Advanced Transcultural Studies in Universität Heidelberg, Germany in 2015. She has set up the library for The Raza Foundation, and also organised the archival section of Shri Amar Nath Sehgal private collection. She has been visiting faculty at the National Institute of Fashion and Technology, New Delhi since 2018.
